WSET Level 2 Award in Wines

WSET Level 2 online

The WSET Level 2 Award in Wines provides a thorough introduction to the world of international wines — and it’s a genuinely fun and rewarding challenge for any wine lover. Learn about 22 key grape varieties, the styles they produce, and the regions most famous for them. We’ll explore how the natural environment shapes a wine’s style and quality, and you’ll gain an understanding of vineyard management and winemaking techniques and how they influence flavour. You’ll also develop the skills to understand international wine labels and be introduced to important wines from 22 countries.

The course further strengthens your tasting ability by teaching you how to analyse a wine’s appearance, aromas, palate, and quality with confidence.

This is an intermediate-level qualification. If you don’t consider yourself a beginner but haven’t completed a formal wine qualification before, Level 2 is an excellent place to start your WSET journey. It’s also a highly valuable qualification for aspiring sommeliers and anyone working in the drinks or hospitality industry.
